Core Story: The Core's Shriver Hall Concert Series streams on Facebook

Due to the current crisis, many Core Arts organizations have turned to online presentations. On Sunday May 3 at 5:30, The Core's Shriver Hall Concert Series offered a free concert featuring Inon Barnatan performing Mendelssohn, Stevenson, Gershwin, and Schubert streaming on Facebook.

Described as “one of the most admired pianists of his generation,” by the New York Times, Bartanan has performed in the U.S., Europe, and his native Israel, including dates with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Royal Stockholm Symphony, the Israel Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. Interestingly, the Shriver Hall Concert Series has always offered some free concerts (and lectures) as part of it's schedule, as the Baltimore Sun wrote up in a March story.
